Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.01 and 4.5 for the Macintosh, as well as Netscape versions earlier than 4.06, have security software that expired Dec. 31, 2000.
These browsers contain expired certificates that help verify that sites are secure, and can prevent users from accessing a secure web site. A message of certificate expiration will be displayed to users of affected browsers.

Our Web site is highly secured to prevent unauthorized access to your account information. You must have a browser with 128-bit encryption to access your accounts. You can download the 128-bit versions from the following links:

To access your account, you must verify that you are who you are by providing your social security number (or tax identification number) and your personal identification number.

Social Security Number (SSN)

The SSN required is the one under which your account is registered. If yours is a joint account, this is usually the SSN of the first name that appears on the account.

Personal Identification Number (PIN)

To create your PIN, please click on the "Click Here for Account Access" link below. On the 'Account Selection' page, click on the 'Create PIN' button. You will then be prompted to key in your account number, your social security number and to create your PIN. You many also create a 'Question and Answer' reminder in case you forget your new PIN.

To ensure the highest level of security and anonymity, the new PIN you select must meet the following requirements:

  • It must be seven to eight characters in length
  • It must include at least one alphabet character and at least one numeric character.

Note: PINs are not case sensitive. Alphabetic characters may be entered in either upper (A) or lower (a) case.

Please call the toll free number 1-800-930-3828 if:

  • Your PIN is no longer active
  • You've forgotten it and you don't remember your question and answer reminder
  • It gets suspended because of too many unsuccessful log-on attempts (which is a security measure to protect your account information).

Once you have created a new PIN, it will be placed on hold for a period of 3 days, then access will be granted. Or you may call the toll free number (listed above) and have the hold lifted immediately. The hold is placed on the new PIN for your protection (fraud prevention).

What you can do when you access your account

Your SSN and PIN permit you to electronically inquire to determine your current share balances and their current value, to exchange or transfer assets between your existing accounts within our fund family, and to redeem shares from your account and have a check for the proceeds mailed to you.

If you would like to purchase shares electronically or have redemption proceeds sent directly to your bank account, you must make arrangements for electronic funds transfer using Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures. This requires that you have certain bank account information on file with us so that funds can be transferred electronically between your mutual fund and bank accounts. There is no additional charge to you and it is very easy to set this up. To establish this option on your account or to verify the bank information that is on file, please call the toll free number (listed above).
